Actually, the story of Tempest starts at a brewpub in Canada. While slinging beers, a pair of star-crossed travellers from either side of the world met and decided to navigate the globe together, finally settling down in Annika's native New Zealand.

It was there, while working as a chef, that Gavin began home-brewing in their garage in Christchurc
