Made using quality ingredients and time-honoured methods, every batch is crafted with care to deliver the rich, creamy taste.

“Jethart Snails” are a traditional sweet from the Borders town of Jedburgh — whose older Scots name is “Jethart” or “Jeddart.” They’re not actual snails, but hard peppermint-flavoured boiled sweets, usually dark brown and shaped in a curved spiral resembling a snail.

The sweets are strongly tied to local Borders history and folklore. According to tradition, the recipe was given to a Jedburgh family
